This notice explains what personal data this site collects, what for, and what you can do about it. It is written to be understood, not to cover us.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is BII LINX SHENZHEN TRADING (Tax ID 91440300MADDBYP8X6), with registered address at B481, Angel Building, Bagua 4th Road, Hualin Community, Futian District, Shenzhen, China, which operates the BiiLinx brand, dedicated to manufacturer sourcing and auditing in Asia.
What we collect, and when
Only what you give us on purpose. This site has no user registration, no comments, and asks for nothing in order to be read.
- If you write to us through the contact form: your name, your email, your company if you state it, and whatever you write in the message.
- If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email, your name if you give it, the language you subscribed in, the date, the page you subscribed from, and a record of your consent with the exact wording you accepted.
- If you accept analytics: aggregated usage data, as described in the cookie policy.
- In the server logs: your IP address and browser, which the hosting keeps for security and diagnostics.
What we use them for
To answer you, to prepare a quote if you asked for one, and to understand which pages of the site are useful. Nothing else. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email and name only to send it to you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep them
Commercial enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact. If an enquiry leads to a transaction, the data tied to that transaction is kept for 5 years, the period that article 30 of the Mexican Federal Tax Code requires for accounting records and their supporting documentation. Once the period is over, the data is deleted. Analytics data, as the cookie policy will state once analytics is live.
Newsletter data is kept for as long as you stay subscribed. When you unsubscribe, it is removed from the list.
Who we share them with
With the group companies that need to take part in your operation, and with the providers that keep the site and the email running. With nobody else.
Today there is a single category of processor: the web hosting and email provider, which processes the data on our behalf and under our instructions. Its servers are located in the United States, so submitting any of the site’s forms involves an international transfer of your data to that country.
There are no analytics, advertising or customer management systems connected to the forms. If any of that changes, this notice is updated before the change goes live.
The newsletter list is stored on the website itself, with that same hosting provider. No email delivery platform is connected today. If one is added, it will act as a processor only to send you the newsletter, and this notice will be updated before it goes live.
What you can ask us for
Access to your data, correction, deletion, objection to our use of it, or withdrawal of your consent to analytics. The last one is done from “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, and needs no email.
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, write to info@global-linx.com from the address you subscribed with and we will take you off the list.
For the rest, write to info@global-linx.com. If we do not reply, or you disagree with the reply, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

If it changes, it is published here with the date.
